Production Update, Ship Date, Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays!

Hi everyone! Happy Holidays and Happy New Year! It’s been a while since we last talked, we’ve just been super busy working on these tickers. But we’re gonna go ahead and end the year with an update from the Fintic team. Things are looking good and production is going smoothly!

Production

We’ve completed all pre-assembly work, including installing bonnets to the Raspberry Pis, attaching the power cords to the power supplies etc. For final assembly, we are still waiting for 30+ crates of the ticker frames to arrive from the factory, which we estimate to be within the first few days of 2022 (Boy, my back is going to hurt from moving all these boxes)! Once they arrive, we’ll be able to fully assemble the frames together within a week. We’ll finally spend the last 1-2 weeks of software dev, final bug fixes, quality testing, and making sure everything is working properly.

Ship Date

We now have a ship date for your tickers! The ship date is going to be starting Jan 21st, 2022. Once we ship these tickers out, we will send you the tracking numbers via email. We will ship the tickers out based on the ascending order of backer number.

After shipping out the tickers, we’re also thinking of creating a discussion forum, and a public Trello board for you all to keep track of our progress with future software dev such as implementing new features, fixing bugs, planned features etc, so keep an eye out for that!

Kickstarter Survey

Finally, if you haven’t filled out the Kickstarter survey that we sent about a month ago, please do so as soon as possible. If we have any issues with your shipping address, we will reach out to you. Please also reach out to us if your address will change before the ship date.
