[Update 1.3.4] Pre-Mkt / After-Hrs Data, Scheduler, IPO Calendar, Portfolio Tracking, UFC, F1, NASCAR, LIV
Hey all,
We’re back with a big update here! This update comes with a new scheduler system for daily shutdowns, reboots, brightness changes, a new IPO calendar feature, more sources and countries for the news feature, pre-market and after-hours data for stocks, portfolio tracking for stocks and crypto, along with UFC, LIV Golf, NASCAR, and F1 added to the sports features.
On top of that, minor changes are made such as adding starting times for upcoming sports games, showing the ticker’s MAC address and IP address on boot (for users who wish to access the web panel via IP), changing the date format for sports features to be more easily readable and more. For the full list of changes, please see the list below. We’ve also made tutorial videos for you to watch for these new features, please be sure to check them out!

- Added scheduled shutdown and reboot times on the top of web panel, right under the hostname
- IP, hostname and MAC address now shows up on screen upon boot (after boot logo), for users who wish to access the web panel via IP address (the IP could change if for example, your WiFi router restarts)
- Changed API for commodities feature. Deleted some old commodities symbols, added new Live Cattle and Lean Hog commodities.
- Can now choose to show current weather info or not for daily forecast (standard display)
- Fixed some spacing issues and changed font sizes for daily forecast (standard display)
- Images / GIFs are now centered when paused
- Added UFC to upcoming and past sports (including odds, fighter stats and more. Prelims not included)
- Added starting times for upcoming sports games (EST, CET for premier league)
- Changed date format for sports features (e.g. 04/21 Mon)
- Fixed removing trailing zeros for commodities and crypto
- Special characters will now decode for custom messages, to prevent the feature from crashing
How to Update Your Ticker
Simply click on the “up to date” or the “update available” button on the top right corner of the web control panel. After clicking the button, the ticker should begin pulling the latest updates from our servers, and restart on its own. Please do not shut down or interrupt the update process, until the ticker is done rebooting.
